Standing Sunbreaths

Begin in the mountain pose. Inhale, and as you continue bringing breath in, extend your arms out to the side, and then up overhead reaching to the sky. Exhale as you gently lower your arms and bring your hands to the center of your chest, hands in prayer position (Angeli mudra). At the center of your breastbone there is an acupressure point (CV17, also known as the Sea of Tranquility) that is good for releasing anxiety and balancing the emotions. Enjoy four or five sunbreaths, and then take three deep breaths, resting with your hands in prayer position at the Sea of Tranquility.
